We work with motivated writers to produce valuable and unique content, and we currently offer dofollow links*.
Before submitting your article to us, please read our guidelines below to ensure the best chance of having your article reviewed and accepted.
What We Are Looking For
- Motivation, success, personal development, and mental growth success stories are our focus. The genre we prefer is self development, which includes: Motivation, Inspiration, Success, Spirituality, Life, and General Career Advice.
- Articles submitted should be be informative, inspiring, have some personal swag (but not too much!), and the conclusion should be positive. We want our readers to leave our site feeling inspired. We aren’t interested in seeing articles where the bulk of your text is mostly quotes.
Article Guidelines
- Please make sure your article is roughly 800-3000 words. We are interested in writing that is concise and to the point (not drifting off topic), strong grammar skills (so we don’t have to do structural line edits), and has a familiar and personal feel.
- There may be no AI-generated content. This means you may not create articles through platforms and tools that automatically generate content through AI.
- You may include public domain images (pexels.com, pixabay.com, etc.) with your submission, but images aren’t required. Our design team will find images and/or edit yours to ensure they are fully optimized. We will choose the featured image for the article, so no need to worry about that!
- You may use formatting in your article such as bold, italics, underline, and text color changes. However, our editorial team may change your format to suit our theme.
- Please include subheadings that are optimized with SEO in mind. Use subheadings to break up your content so it isn’t a solid block of text. A good rule of thumb is to have at least 5 headings for every 1000 words.
- Single sentence lines are not what we are looking for. In other words, don’t separate each block of text by single sentences. Short paragraphs make the article easier to read. If you need an example, check out any of the articles published on our site.
Link Policy
- Currently, we do allow guest contributors to place links from outside websites within the body of the article.
- We do not allow affiliate links and or links to products or services, which include tools and apps. Our aim is to provide our readers with advice and inspiration, not for us to promote you as the writer or any products or services you recommend. Links that you submit in your article will be reviewed and may be removed/changed should we decide to publish your article.
- eHowdy.com reserves the right to modify links in articles you submit. One reason we may do this is because the link is not relevant or will negatively affect our SEO or brand image, due to reasons such as sites being undeveloped, and/or bad quality or nature of content.
- If you state any statistics or non-common facts in your article, please also submit the links for your source. Do not make empty claims without backing them up. There are exceptions, such as you are a publicly known expert on your topic.
- In addition, according to Google’s Qualifying Links, if there is no ‘rel’ attribute used, then ‘do-follow’ is the default. Our site also applies ‘do-follow’ as default. Therefor, if your links do not contain a ‘rel’ attribute, then they are ‘do-follow’ links.
If you have read our guidelines and are ready to submit your article to eHowdy then continue below:
If you don’t submit your article in the way we have requested from the information in this page, we will have you re-submit your work. We also reserve the right to turn down your article for any reason, and for which reason we are not required to disclose.
Ready to submit your article?
- Submit your completed final draft to hello@ehowdy.com. Include your author bio and the email address you used to create a gravatar account.
- Your author bio should be no more than 150 words. Include your first and last name in the bio, with no more than two links. They can be links to your website, eBook, social media, or whatever is important to you. Please know we reserve the right to use ‘nofollow’ after reviewing your links. We would do this for reasons such as the quality or nature of your linked material would negatively affect eHowdy.
- Please create a gravatar account using your email address so we have access to a profile picture for your author bio — http://en.gravatar.com (Please provide us with the email address you used for your Gravatar account, not the profile link.)
- Make sure your article has a unique title. Remember, the title is the first thing that catches the readers’ eye. Your title should be creative and inviting to click. Our team will review your title, and if we believe it can be improved, we may change it before publishing.
We appreciate you taking the time to read these guidelines. Thank you for your interest and consideration to share your unique content with our website and readers. We hope to work with you soon!
